Chapter 7 – Private Dance

Liam and Molly walked out of the club and to truck. He opened the door for her and helped her into the passenger seat. He closed the door behind her and walked to the driver’s side. Once inside he leaned over and gave her a long sensuous kiss.

“I’ve been waiting to do that all night!” he said to her. She kissed him back with even more lust.

“And I have been waiting to do that all night as well.” She said as they both broke out into laughter.

“Do I get to know what you have planned?” She asked.

“Sure! If it’s not too forward, I thought we would head back to my place. Enjoy a couple of beverages and just relax together!” he said.

“OK!” She said quickly.

Molly had her entire life rebuilt in just over a day. She was really attracted to Liam, he was doing everything right to take care of her. His friends were great, he could have said they were going to go swim in the mud and she likely would have agreed.

Liam put his truck into gear and started driving. He placed his hand on her lap as he drove. The back of his hand felt rough as she held it.

“Why is your hand so rough? Is that from the fight?” she asked.

“Tape residue.” He said. “Under the boxing gloves they tape your hand so you don’t break your fist when you punch your opponent. Once the fight is done, and they cut it off, there is always a little residue. It goes away with in a day.” He answered.

“Ah. Sorry. I don’t know very much about boxing.” She said.

“It’s ok sweetheart! I will teach you as much or as little as you care to know!” he said as he looked over to her.

“I want to know it all. You’re obviously very passionate about it. I loved the fight. Although I was a little shocked when he, what did they call it, sucker punched you?” she said.

“Yea, the guy is a chump. I honestly don’t even know how he got a title shot. I knew it would be a cake walk. But the sucker punch is bull shit! It’s illegal and he will likely be fined for it.” he explained.

“Well congrats. You are a great fighter!” She said as she locked her fingers between his.

Liam looked over and smiled.

A few moments later he pulled into a residential area, and a few turns later he was in his driveway. Molly looked at the rather large house.

“Wow! That’s a lot of house for a single guy!” she said admiring his home.

“What can I say, I like space.” He said with a chuckle.

They hopped out of the truck and he walked to the front door. He pressed a button on his key fob to lock the truck, then opened the front door.

“Please come in!” he said as he opened the front door for Molly.

Molly could not help but gawk at the interior. The place was immaculate. The living room off to the left with an open concept design let her see the kitchen in the back.
